Meet Darren
Darren Misenko combines seven years of experience as a commercial construction manager and general contractor with twelve years of Vermont construction law experience to provide the detailed understanding of construction techniques and job site situations needed to assist clients with technical issues. He has a deep familiarity with all aspects of contract administration and project delivery combined with a vast knowledge of Vermont and Federal laws and regulations affecting construction.
Darren has a practical understanding of construction, and is personally familiar with the issues his clients face. He is proud to represent commercial owners, contractors, and designers on the broad range of legal issues that affect their businesses and livelihoods.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Darren served as co-owner, general counsel, managing officer, and construction project manager of a full-service institutional, commercial, and residential construction management and general contracting business based in Central New York. He has built or managed the construction or renovation of commercial buildings, apartment buildings, public schools, houses, and custom luxury homes.
Darren is an active member of the the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry, and Vermont Bar Association. He is admitted, in good standing, to the bars of New York, Vermont, and the U.S. District Court - District of Vermont.
